Story for RSP - JOSH BROLIN

Will there really be a sequel to 'The Goonies'? Josh Brolin answers that question.
Josh Brolin joined Ryan Seacrest on-air, to discuss the release and news the upcoming Movie "Jonah Hex" which is released in cinemas, 18 June 2010.

'Jonah Hex' is based on a comic book which has been around since the year of 1971, when the character was first created. The comic included 3 totally different and entertaining manifestations. "It's one of these comic book that's not like batman, spiderman, it wasn't an extremely famous comic by any means, but it survived. It survived until now." Regarding the 3 different manifestations, Josh explained, "The just kept changing it to see what would click with an audience."

In the new movie, Jonah Hex, an important aspect of Josh's character is how his face is burned by John Malkovich's character, Quentin Turnbull, after he indirectly killed his son. This results in a revenge tale that makes up an interesting part of the movie.

Josh expressed how ot takes 3 long hours -daily- to apply the prosthetics and make-up that ultimatley leads to his damaged 'burnt face' look, and goes on to joke that he had to shave off half his beard for them to be able to apply the make-up, and so, "I was walking around New Orlean's when i wasn't working with a half a beard, which im sure was extremely attractive."

The film includes the newly engaged and sexy Megan Fox, who plays a prostitute with 'a heart of gold'. Josh describes Megan as "a truck driver at heart", as well as "a lot of fun to hang out with. She held her own."
Josh, a father of 3, jokes about not knowing what to get his father for Father's Day and says "I'm at a loss like everyone else." Josh's father, James Brolin, will appear live in-studio this July, and has just produced his own movie, titled "Standing Ovation".

When confronted about a sequel to "The Goonies", which was filmed 25 years ago, Josh Brolin explains- after talking with Stephen Spielberg- "There's been 5 different scripts, but he's actually looking for the right script, so i think his intention is to ultimately do it." Good news for all "The Goonies' fans.
